Las Vegas Birth Control Pill Research Study – Dr. R. Garn Mabey

Birth control pills can have unwanted, unpleasant side effects. The most common reported are nausea, vomiting, breakthrough bleeding and spotting, headaches, pelvic pain, bloating or swelling, and breast tenderness. Collectively these symptoms can be termed Hormone Withdrawal-Associated Symptoms.

Dr. R. Garn Mabey is participating in a nation-wide research study for a major pharmaceutical company. We are looking for healthy women to participate in this research study to see if an investigational birth control pill reduces hormone withdrawal-associated symptoms.

If you are between 18 and 50 years old and are currently taking a monthly birth control pill, please call (702)290-2950 to learn more about this oral contraception research study. Our friendly Patient Service Coordinators will be happy to speak with you. In the event we are with another patient at the time of your call, please leave a message with your name, telephone number, and the best time to be reached to become involved with this exciting new study.
We will return your call within 24 hours.

Qualified participants may receive study medication and study related medical care at no cost. Qualified participants may also receive up to $400.00 for time and travel.
